Management make sweeping statements and dictate actions they have no intelligence or experience on. Hardly any interdepartmental communication meaning projects are run in chaos and take 10x longer then needed. Everyone is out for themselves and own department rather than working cohesively to get the job done. The behaviour of some colleagues is the most unprofessional I have ever witnessed but is accepted by senior management due to legacy. You will be expected to start early and finish late. Senior management being so disconnected from reality that you are forced into a doomed direction and then when things go wrong or you speak up you are the bad guy. Meetings - you have to really enjoy spending your entire day in meetings and then your evenings replying to emails.
