Pros

I first became acquainted with Corri McFadden and eDrop-Off over five years ago. I was watching House of Consignment and remember being blown away by the company and by Corri McFadden. She seemed smart, hardworking, and was so sure of herself and what she was doing. I knew I wanted to learn from her and be on her team. Even though they weren’t hiring, I immediately sent in my resume. I heard nothing back. Undeterred, I checked back about a month later and saw they were looking for a photography assistant. I jumped at the chance and sent in my resume once more. A few days after my interview, I received the news that they wanted me for the position. Was it a high paying position? No, but it got my foot in the door and I was confident I could grow quickly. I was willing to start at the bottom, and that is exactly what I did. From the moment I began working at eDrop-Off I made it known that my intention was to work in marketing. It took me approximately a year and a half to reach my desired goal and in that time, I worked in the photography, copywriting, inventory and stockroom and shipping departments. To say I learned a lot is an understatement. That year and a half of my life was like fashion bootcamp. I knew Corri valued hard work above all else and I wanted to prove I would work as hard as I needed to in order to reach my goal. Each time my position shifted, I received a significant raise (well above the industry standard) and I quickly worked my way up. As with any company, you must be willing to put in the work. Always be clear about your goals and what you want and don’t be afraid to ask for things. You can’t expect management to read your mind. In the five years I’ve been at eDrop-Off I have been told "yes" and "no" many times. My job here has been extremely rewarding and working for Corri McFadden has helped me grow both personally and professionally. If you’re willing to work hard and know how to communicate, you can grow quickly at eDrop-Off. My entire experience here has been invaluable.

Cons

Scheduling meetings within each department can be challenging due to the fact that the management staff takes on many roles.

Pros

This was one of my first jobs out of college. Initially, I felt frustrated at basic things such as pay, hours and management's expectations. However it still wasn't half as bad as some of the other jobs I'd worked so I decided to stick it out. I'm glad I did because now a couple years later, I realize my frustrations had nothing to do with Edrop Off itself and everything to do with the unrealistic expectations I had as a recent college grad. I guess that's what 16 years of being told you can have anything you want if you just believe will do to you. Who doesn't want to walk out of college and into a job with a $100k salary, full benefits, a month of paid vacation and a company car? Working here is fun because the staff is small and tight knit so you get to know everyone's personalities and talents. I also enjoy being able to interact directly with managers or with Corri rather than having to "contact corporate" with every issue that comes up. Questions are answered and issued are resolved very quickly. Best pros: fun atmosphere, a good variation in work, ability to move up within the business if you prove you're there to stay, you can tell management genuinely cares about you. And actually the hours are awesome compared with what most of my friends work.

Cons

In some departments, turnover is high. Since the staff is small, having even one good person leave can really stint your personal growth as well as the business's.
