Pros

Some good employees work there

Cons

CEO is as mean as it gets and will give you bad reviews years after you leave the company. First week I started they laid off at least 10 people and escorted them out immediately with boxes like criminals. There is a special place in hell for people like that I believe

Pros

Very rarely do eager/ambitious people get to join a company that expects (and actually wants) them to own and oversee meaningful projects, and get to really see things through from end to end. That company is eSight. As an emerging tech company that is making a real difference, eSight is a place for you to fast-track your growth, and learn a few (AKA a lot) of things along the way. You will be taken aback by the emotion of seeing people who are visually impaired see again with the company’s technology. And you will see yourself develop, quickly, as you solve huge problems and work with virtually every “level” of the company in getting stuff done.

Cons

Because eSight is aspiring to solve a MAJOR problem (restoring sight to the world’s visually impaired community) and because solving MAJOR problems is not an easy thing to do in life, eSight, like any other emerging and aspirational tech company, can at times be a challenging place to work. A lot is expected of you, emotions can run high, and there are parts of the plane that the company is still building while it flies. But for a lot of people, this type of environment is actually quite exciting! Something to consider nonetheless to align your expectations before you make the decision to join.

Pros

Working with passionate individuals who want to help people who have low vision see again, some for the first time. People here are very caring and nice. I genuinely feel welcomed wholeheartedly into the eSight family.

Cons

Still considered a start-up so all of the kinks associated with that. More communication between home office and those in the field.
