Pros

This could be a great place to work (except for warehouse). The job itself is easy and low stress. Most co-workers were nice. The pay is decent. The facility is clean and climate controlled. Overtime is voluntary and there is usually as much available as you would like.

Cons

When you're hired on as a temp, they'll promise you that you'll become permanent after 90 days and then you'll get the pay raises, the wonderful retirement, PTO, and the great health benefits that the permanent workers enjoy. They make it sound so wonderful. Problem is, you're most likely going to be canned once you hit your 90 days. It's must less expensive for them to just keep a constantly revolving door of temps than to actually hire people on permanently. They hire just enough people on to keep up appearances. Since you're a temp they don't even need a reason to fire you. They won't even tell you that you did anything wrong. They just let whatever temp agency you hired through wake you up before your shift to tell you your assignment has been ended. Although the job itself is good the work environment is toxic. Management is inept. The team leads (set up techs) work on the good ol' boy system where them and their buddies stand around doing nothing all night, letting everyone else do all the work. Training is an absolute joke. If you make a mistake they'll tell you "Oh it's okay, everyone makes mistakes" but then you'll get thrown under the bus to the shift manager. If you're black or latino you'll probably get fired before your 90 days are even up because most of the leadership are racist. If you don't wear clothing with jingoistic patriotic right wing slogans, dip skoal, and carry a spit bottle with you every where you go, then you're not in the cliche. If they find out you're not a right wing MAGA chud, you won't get hired on. It doesn't matter how hard you work. There are people who work double shifts almost every day and don't get hired on because they're not in with the right people. Meanwhile, the people in charge can't get materials from the warehouse to the lines. The lines break down constantly and the maintenance people are incapable of permanent fixes. The warehouse is an absolute disaster. HR are underhanded and unethical.
