Reaching out for internships in 2022 was nerve-wracking going through college, especially with an interest in a relatively new, niche field of virtual and augmented reality. Luckily, echo3D responded quickly to my inquiry, clearly outlined the nature of their internship, and once started - provided very clear weekly assignments to be completed. On the business development side, we got to immediately deliver insights into the product which, given the startup's size, were much more quickly integrated than being at a massive corporation. The internship lets you explore different strengths and dig deep into what works for you. The overall structure of the program helped me feel much more tapped into the daily activities of a startup and engaged with a new field that I could be excited about. With a friendly team and accessible leadership, echo3D is a great internship to explore the startup space and get involved in XR.
