Pros
- Lots of room for high-achievers to learn and grow (if you identify a problem or something that can be improved, you're encouraged to take it on & lead!) - The team is made up of collaborative "A players" (meaning everyone is very nice & even casual but expects the best performance from one another - this is not a place where you can coast or hide) - Massive growth is turning the business from a small startup into a fast-growth company - Great benefits you would only expect from a big corporation (for instance, $15,000 in fertility/adoption/family-planning benefits for each employee) - Good transit location from basically anywhere in the city (in downtown Brooklyn by all the Express and Local subway stops) - Pays above-average for NYC (especially a startup)
Cons
- This is my second startup and this is much better-managed from a business practices perspective - it's also much friendlier - that being said, over the last year or two there's been a lot of 'weeding out' "subpar" team members and hiring on better folks. This is normal and not necessarily a con unless you are one of those lower-achievers.
