You'll hear the words 'culture' and 'feedback' being thrown around a lot, on top of very pretentiously having a 'culture fit' stage at the end of the interview process. That is almost always code for 'let's see if they're manageable and won't stand out or challenge leadership too much'. Let me elaborate - I'm neurodivergent and received anonymous feedback criticising my mannerisms and 'in-office behaviour' which I find wild for a company in 2025, boasting its amazing, core-shaking culture. I think what they try to advertise on paper is not being implemented in practice. I'd advise anyone who's a minority and actually cares for D&I to do their best to keep their sanity, as you won't see a lot of that there. Moreover, micromanagement was horrific.
