Pros
interacting with students age 4 to 6. although at times, a class of 8 can sometimes get abit overwhelming. working hours are nice, dont have to wake up so early. but thats pretty much about it.
Cons
-you will be paid PER student, total students per class is 8. this was NOT declared to us during the interview. first red flag aka shady management. -the salary portrayed on their ads and during the interview is very nice, but in actual fact, your real salary is totally dependent on their enrollment. so even if you have a class of 4 students, u will still have to teach. - my CPF will only pid after the 2-3 month, after i have. to "chase" them for it. - take not that your contract is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. you are NOT an employee covered under the MOM employees act. you will not have any employee benefits whatsoever. but at the same time the company says you are tied down to them. SECOND RED FLAG AKA SHADY. - you will be forced to sign a contract that binds you for 3 years with them. so think carefully. - no formal paid training, the owner just give 2-3 full day trainings (so i dont get how their 3 year bond is valid)
