Pros
When I worked at iMedRIS, maybe because I worked at iMedRIS, there was an awesome company culture: popcorn, picnics, parties, potlucks. It was a family. Many of us were friends outside of work (and still are). I loved my job. Cons
Things fell apart. The owner started doing mass firings, started hiring family members with no discernible amount of background in marketing or developing. A friend of the owner was brought in, who did not know how to use Microsoft Word, or any other computer program, who could not write a grammatically correct sentence, who was all around toxic to morale; bonuses were cut, the 401k plan was cut without the staff knowing, people were moved from salary to hourly, great people started looking for work elsewhere, customer service always seemed to be an afterthought, the pay was way below industry. I lament for what iMedRIS was and what it could have been.
