Pros
- Good learning place for beginners - Colleagues and team members are friendly and helpful - Conducive environment for developing stress tolerance and time critical decisions ability
Cons
- Poor management, resources are overstretched to different projects within limited shared headcount. - Management shares no empathy to staff. A most important element in a company is to have trust between their employers and employees. But like any typical poor cultured workplace, employers tend to question efforts instead of recognising contributions and appreciating employees. - Vendor culture. Committing to deliverables which are not feasible within limited timeline, and constantly changing requirements. Has almost no bargaining power against clients and will commit to what is requested. - Turnover rate is high, seniors left were replaced with juniors which has no product knowledge, yet headcount is accounted into project with no reasonable buffers to cater for newbie’s onboarding + understanding and coping product/project knowledge. - Staff benefits are comparatively poor at this era.
