Pros
- The people you work with excluding the management are the only reason to work for this company. - Employee's are the backbone to this company.
Cons
- Paid Monthly (sometimes not on time or given excuses as to why an employee isn't paid on time.) - Doesn't really supply computers to work on - expects you to bring your own if you have it. - Management too cheap to pay for supplies for the office/ or pay a cleaning person to clean it/ or pay for a garbage bin. - Unclear expectations, Un-prioritized work - you never end up working on the same thing for long, continuously switches. - Pretends to give incentives to get employee's to work faster but refuses to pay up when apparent incentive goal expires. - No room to grow/ No positive feedback/ No feedback given in general. - Relies on grants. - Employee morale is usually low, as management drags its own company down. - There is no HR, no real management, company calls itself a start up but has been around for 7 years. - Management tries to convince employee's there applying for a specific position to end up doing the same as everyone else in the office. - Management favours certain employee's allowing them to permanently work from home- but expects everyone else who works for him to always be in the office basically a double standard. - High turn over rate - no real employment opportunity as people are constantly leaving (5 people left within my first 6 months, due to management unprofessionalism/ incompetence.
