Pros
If you ask the average person who is happy with their job what they like about it, one of the most common responses is "the people". That has often been the case for me as well. I've made friends basically everywhere I've worked, and I've nearly always enjoyed being around the people I work with. When I say "the people" at nCino, however, there's more to it than that. The people here and the company itself are incredibly great to work with and for. There is such positive energy, and such a single, focused mindset on a common goal. There are work conflicts, like anywhere, and mistakes happen, like anywhere. The way they're resolved is one of the things that sets nCino apart. There is a great resolve to solve problems, help each other out, and again, focus on the common goal. Our CEO preaches culture, culture, culture at every company All Hands meeting. The hiring process is very much centered around making sure the right people are hired -- not just the most talented people, but the most talented people who are going to fit in. The company pays employee insurance in full; there are retirement benefits, and stock options as well. If that's not enough, the break room is stocked with snacks, drinks, and (much to my liking) a large selection of K-cups. Every day I come to work, I look forward to the day. I feel very blessed and lucky to work here.
Cons
I don't know of any yet. At this point my biggest disappointment in an average week is when we're out of Mati's by Monday afternoon. I would say my perspective on cons is a little skewed.
