Pros

The category of the product is exciting. Met some great people at an ICP level. That's about it.

Cons

The inexperience of the CEO is running the business to the ground. The company used to have an energetic team, good company culture, great office spaces, strong teamwork. It made the startup pace and expectations bearable. All I'll say is, a large percentage of the people who worked during that time are no longer with the company. A lot were laid off, but the good talent remaining left on their own. The brand, product, and trajectory of the company has also stagnated (or regressed) a lot in the last few years since they lost their top talent. A few new customers and some new features, sure, but the momentum is not there. Which is frustrating, because there is so much potential there.

Pros

Supportive and friendly team, clear communication, and a very welcoming environment for interns. I really appreciate the collaborative culture and the opportunity to learn from experienced team members.

Cons

As an intern, the learning curve can feel a bit steep at the beginning, and there is a lot of new information to take in.
