Pros

Supportive, pro-active, prompt, understanding, genuinely want to see people achieving, helpful, respectful

Cons

If you prefer in-person working, it might not be the right environment as over 90% is remote working and/or on Teams.

Pros

I am finally at a place where I can wake up every morning excited to work. I love how family oriented this company is and how well everyone works as a team. At the end of the day, we all want to succeed! There is room for growth within this company and they are very flexible.

Cons

I don't have any cons.

Pros

I met some lovely assessors during my time there so were so supportive.

Cons

There are so many cons. You cannot physically manage your workload during your paid time, you will have to work early and late every day to keep on top of things. If you do not upload enough ‘credits’ every day, you will be publicly embarrassed in front of the team during the morning meeting. Micromanagement to the max. They say you are in charge of your diary, but you’re not really. You will have random calls from your area manager, usually to shout at you or berate for some reason, usually if you haven’t been able to meet your KPI’s. This can be in the middle of a call with a learner, and they will expect you to stop what you are doing and take the call from them, but then complain to you when the learner hasn’t made much progress during that monthly visit. I’ve had learners in tears where they have been threatened by t2 to get their course done, sometimes expected to complete all units of work in one day alone so t2 can collect their payment. I found that most of the time, learners got behind with their work due to the turnover of staff (which was huge whilst I was there, unable to retain anyone because of how awful it is there) then as assessors we are expected to rush them through the course, no excuses. I spent many evenings up until 10pm, on a call with a learner sometimes for over 7+ hours working with them to get the course completed. The worst thing is, t2 will sign learners up for a course, without actually having an assessor available.. so they could go on for months without any support at all and no work set for them to complete and learners fall behind from no fault of their own. You see t2 do not care about the learners or the assessors, it’s only about the money. Expected to see 3-4 learners per day, write up their documents, mark their work, assess them, visit them for in house assessments, and often enough there was just not enough time in the day. They will not pay you overtime either so get used to working a lot of hours for free. The stress this job caused was horrendous. Usually a group of assessors and myself would join a meeting together in the evening just to vent to one another, and try and find ways to support each other. There’s also no way of achieving their bonuses. So if you see an advert saying up to £900 bonuses per month, it’s a blatant lie. They will also say you are capped at 55 learners max. This is also a lie. When I left, I had 78 learners, which was impossible to manage alone. They also say you won’t have to travel over 50 miles, but you will anyway! In the end, I couldn’t take any more of it,l. Terrible company and i would avoid at all costs if you value your mental health.
