Pros

theright.fit encourages all team members (no matter what their role) to ideate, discuss and contribute to the company's goals. This environment creates a sense of agency, connection and empowerment. In a nutshell, we are all in this together, and what skills can we use to move from A to B? therigh.fit promotes a flexible work environment. It achieves this by firstly, allowing work autonomy but in investing and utilising tools and technologies that help all staff feel included and valued no matter where they are. Lastly, the current CEO (Taryn) is always approachable. Furthermore, she has always supported her employees' growth, whether learning new skills to apply directly or taking on an outside challenge.

Cons

The environment is highly dynamic. As a result, if somebody is accustomed to a more standardized and linear work environment, they may struggle. However, if you prefer a more fluid environment, then you have the opportunity to thrive.

Pros

The leadership team practice what they preach and supports the team by setting their own hours and schedule. If I need to run an errand during the day, there's no issue, and no one is watching the clock—they seem to only care about the output, not the hours I work. You can see the whole team is invested in the company's success because we all have equity (on top of an already pretty competitive salary). Everyone works pretty hard, but that's not a top-down mandate but rather a bunch of really driven folks. The hustle you feel is motivating. We're a close-knit team, so you get lots of exposure to, and opportunities to collaborate with, the leadership team. They really roll up their sleeves and wouldn't ask you to do anything they wouldn't do themselves, and I don't feel like I'm bothering them with questions, ideas, or requests for guidance.

Cons

This isn't a con for me because I love the velocity, but It's still a startup so things can change quickly, and everyone needs to rally around the biggest problem. This isn't for everyone. Small startups can sometimes be structureless, so I must be agile and flexible. It might be hard if you come from a big company or loves a robust process or structured operation.
