Pros

- One day per month allocated to learn pertinent skills outside of the office

Cons

- Often need to work overtime/on weekends for no extra pay - Management is not transparent and often makes decisions detrimental to the employee without warning/notice - Jobs can easily be done remotely are required to be done in office - Most employees in Blue Bell are friends and family of upper management and get preferential treatment - Employees are often fired with no warning - Short staff but no raises in pay for more responsibility - Rampant classism and nepotism which leads to a toxic work environment for outsiders

We value our employees. With the exception of employee dishonesty, we have never fired an employee without working with the employee on a PIP (personal improvement program). There are a few relatives who work for our company, which employs 45+ associates. These associates are valuable contributors to the company and do not hold management roles, nor do they get special concessions of any kind. We value ideas, execution, hard work, and the ability to get along with the team. We’re sorry things did not work out for you here at Encoda and wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Management is awful

Pros

When I am not under management's thumb for random last minute tasks, that I had made them aware of months prior, I was able to be left alone and highly succussed at my job.

Cons

Management does not care. Does not listen to concerns. Does not offer praise, or raises. ($.15 is not a raise) over load your work load. does not answer emails, or chats. No room for growth.
