Pros

Flexible working hours and backed by FA which means it will be consumed when order volume does not increase.

Cons

Management is the same as Jet and only protects and promotes prior colleagues. The COO is the only person making decisions within operations and promoted friends and yes people. If you have a different opinions keep them to yourself.

Pros

1. There are some incredible people here who want to see this vision come to fruition. I am still here solely because of my colleagues and belief in them. 2. Valuable case study in how to not run a company? I feel like I now have much better awareness of when I’m being lied to which is a plus. 3. We are overpaid, was a a Pro until realizing we all need to jump ship, this is now a Con. No accountability, no bonus payout < 90% threshold value regardless of balance sheet, Fun until you realize it all ends because it was all a lie.

Cons

1. The COO is a sociopath who values personal friendships over all else, including business success. Never seen anything like it. Must be on Special Friend List for career advancement. 10/10 get popcorn, worth watching. Absolutely wild. 2. Product team unable to deliver anything ever; seemingly completely unaware of what the business actually does. Unclear if any PMs have any understanding of how to use data to make decisions. Possible charitable hire/tax write off scheme, still unclear. 3. Sitting through 90 minute all-company meetings listening to fawning “sooooo amazing” commentary from COO and their sycophants is a regrettable use of time and solely serves to anger those of us who want to confront and resolve actual known pain points for our customers (and see the vision be successful). 4. Company is folding quickly, in last gasps. Actively avoid unless you enjoy weekly “will I be laid off today” panic attacks. 5. FA benefits are trash. Paying $10/pill/day/month for a critically needed medication. AVOID THE HSA PLAN: PPO IS CHEAPER even without regular dr/specialist appts.

Pros

- This is a very positive work environment. There are very few people who are rude or disrespectful - Very talented team of engineers and most teams are run by good managers. - Pretty solid technical foundation, but there are some awkward spots - Very receptive to new ideas - Strong culture of documentation and code quality with a focus on testing - They do a decent job of keeping meetings limited, but this has become a struggle as the org has grown

Cons

- Engineering team is growing probably faster than revenues can justify. - Business growth has been fairly stagnant for a while and things don't look too promising with the current housing market. It's hard to say what this means for Endpoint, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a round of layoffs sometime this or next year - Pay is OK, but since it's owned by First American, any raise freezes (as just happened in May 22) at corporate level are reflected at Endpoint - The engineering org is getting a bit manager-heavy, and as it happens, the upper-level tech leadership is starting to get more and more disconnected from the actual tech
