Pros

Relaxed, pleasant, and open friendly atmosphere.

Cons

No one tells you directly that he is not happy with something. Everyone complains to the authorities, but they do not say they are unsatisfied with your work. Just after some time, you are fired and that's it. There is no negative feedback, how do you know what you're messing up?

Traumatic experience

Pros

The product seemed useful at the time of covid

Cons

It was by far the worst work experience in my long career. The leadership is mostly incompetent and has huge egos. Those who disagreed with leadership just disappeared. There was regular backstabbing, including from manager. No life work balance whatsoever. Terrible conditions and mean behaviors are explained by the fact that they are a start up.

Don’t work here! Toxic environment

Pros

Remote work was great to have

Cons

Very Toxic environment. Worst place I have ever worked and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. If you haven’t known the founders since “they were born”, don’t even try to work here. It’s like a cult zone of a few that know each other and only validate their own thoughts with no regard to what anyone else’s contribution. Lots of micromanagement. Very little support and resources when you are new to the company. Leadership berates people during all company meetings and occasionally uses Israeli politics as inspiration. Constant backbiting and like I said if you haven’t known the founders since before the company started, be prepared to pack your bags suddenly as you will be fired without warnings or notice. No work life balance. Constantly grumpy CTO and colleagues. Management has no regard or respect for its customers too. In meetings, CTO calls them dumb especially professors who are main users of the app and that’s the approach used in building the product. Basically no regard or respect for customers or end users, they are the know it all team and define what the product should look like and everyone customers included have to follow. Of course if you disagree you won’t last long due to huge egos.
