- Management prides itself on transparency; yet, most decisions made are obfuscated. - Engineering teams are stretched too thin, under-manned, and overworked. - No clear path for promotion or raises; some engineering roles are under-paid. - Products are left to languish. Company vision is focused years out when it should be focused on making quality products now. - Company culture can be overly sensitive or immensely juvenile at times. - Management is fiercely political and, at times, territorial over how the company used to be run, instead of how it should be run now.

Difficult to build new relationships - even on your own team. Engineering is full of condescending people, inexperienced managers. People often think they know more and have more experience than anyone else which leads to decisions made without other stakeholders. Continued disorganized attempts (offsites, hack days) at furthering the engineering organization leading to more disgruntled employees.
