Pros

None. Even though the staffs might be willing to teach a few things to you, it will be pointless if the work culture is extremely toxic and negative.

Cons

- You will be tasked to do menial and meaningless things whereby you learn nothing - The founder has a foul mouth, and will dampens the entire mood of the department which in turn, making the whole work culture toxic and negative - Beware if you are holding PR, the founder threaten to cut an employee's PR status in front of everyone, saying that he has connection to do that - Founder is extremely disrespect toward employees too, and has no regard for anyone's religion

Pros

Easy interview and good product

Cons

Worst management ever. The chairman, Lim Lay Yew treats everyone in the company as slave and will simply scold the employee with all the bad words just because he is not in good mood. No job security. He will fire employee without valid reason and the employee will be assigned to do all irrelevant task. Be prepare to relocate to other country like middle east. Never join this company.

Pros

Team-members are friendly, helpful and pleasant. Although as with every organization, there are a few bad eggs that you will learn to avoid within your first month. Watch for cues, learn their behaviors and plan for your responses, you'll be fine. This is a growing organization, what this means is that you will have an opportunity to learn a lot from mostly well-intentioned colleagues. There are mainly fresh grads but many will leave after a year or 2 for greener pastures. You will also be trained to do all kind of jobs. It will give you experience but some are things you can make do with. This includes throwing rubbish and helping with general workers task. Annual leave is 14 days but you can always request for no-pay leave.

Cons

All hail the almighty dictator Chairman and COO from hell who oversees the organization's daily operations. If you are someone who are build to withstand daily scolding, insult, vulgarities and physical abuse, Esco would be the place for you. Chairman or COO will verbally abuse you with derogatory remarks that are too offensive to be mentioned on Glassdoor. These remarks are often loudly used, and everyone from the second floor to the first floor can hear them. You will be surprised to even see Japanese "styled" capsule hotels that are installed in the office. Usually Filipinos or Indonesian will be sleeping in those cubicles as the management are too cheapskates to book a hotel. They are usually staffs who are here on Social Visit Pass but working in the Singapore office. All the good reviews in Glassdoor were posted by the Filipinos as instructed by the Chairman. Most of the staffs gossips about the management behind their backs and has no plans to stay for a long period in Esco. In Esco, you can only claim $20 for medical and you would have to ask the doctors to write down on the MC why you are sick. Doctor-Patient confidentiality do not exist in the company. But you will be surprised there is a female staff who are always sick but never terminated.
