Pros
The work environment is 10/10. The people there are so much fun to be around and management makes a strong effort to prioritize fun events. There is a clear picture as to what it takes to make more money so there’s never a question of what needs to be done. Some individuals are very approachable and eager to help at any time. They help their employees grow and learn.
Cons
Your ability to grow is heavily tied to the sales team’s ability to sell. In years past, an account manager could have as many accounts as they wanted but that not been the case for some time. Other individuals in management are insecure and will treat questions as challenges. This creates an environment where few feel respected and ideas are shot down. Feedback about this is not taken seriously (I believe it’s because of nepotism). There’s a habit where management doesn’t communicate criticism with employees and instead they are blindly punished or looked over for more opportunities. Account managers are not trusted are quickly becoming more micromanaged. There were multiple occasions where promises were not kept. Specifically trips, cash bonuses and incentives. Management will allow and revoke remote/hybrid work opportunity to different employees randomly with no reason given. For years this was my dream job but recent changes to the economy have caused management to lose integrity and sight of what made them great.
