      Time for a senior mgmt change

      Pros

      Head of development truly wants to make good software, but is too hamstrung with legacy products to fully build a solid SaaS client that competes.

      Cons

      CEO and President must be wearing blinders. They play favorites and keep people that should have been fired a long time ago. They keep hiring horrible sales reps and sales mangers. Even the founding partners wanted out and tried to sell the place. After multiple investment companies looked at the books and the product they all ran away because they knew they were so bad. These guys made it to the top of their industry and just sat on their 'laurels' while all the competition zooms by with better solutions.

      Pros

      ExakTime has some great products that really are beneficial to their target customers. There are some very, very hard working people there who really care about the company and the customers

      Cons

      Very limited communication from upper-management. They are very tight-lipped about future plans. There is a lot of emphasis placed on finding those responsible for problems, but very little energy focused on preventing the problems from occurring in the first place.

      Was fired just 2 months after being hired. When I asked for a reason, they said “just not a good fit.”
