Pros

The flexibility of remote and hybrid work is a significant benefit. Most individual teams are composed of talented, kind people, and the senior engineering staff is generally very helpful. Recent efforts to create a defined career ladder for both ICs and management are a positive step.

Cons

Management has handled recent financial and organizational challenges poorly. A protracted layoff process and subsequent talent flight have left teams under-resourced. Furthermore, the bonus structure was recently modified to shift a much larger portion of the total payout to the end of the year. In practice, this resulted in a substantial loss of total compensation when management decided to cancel those year-end payouts entirely. Combined with base pay increases that barely track with inflation, there is a frustrating disparity between receiving positive performance reviews and seeing your actual take-home pay decrease year-over-year.

Pros

When it comes to software development practices they do the right things with no compromise to security

Cons

Ineffective Communication – Feedback is ignored, and employee concerns are dismissed. Unreasonable Workloads – Employees are overworked without acknowledgment or additional support. No Work-Life Balance – Expectations to work long hours without flexibility or consideration for personal time. High Turnover Rate – Frequent resignations due to poor treatment and lack of appreciation.
