Pros

Great young talented employees to work with throughout the business.

Cons

Senior management tend to preach a certain overarching culture that is not exactly practiced throughout the business. Work life balance only exists if you adhere to your managers interpretation of work life balance. It was seen throughout the business that if an employee disagreed with their direct manager it was very hard to get support from other senior leaders as they are a tight group and very good at creating a rather uncomfortable "us" vs "you" environment for the employee. There seems to be quite a high churn rate with employees within the business so I would advise you do your research and ask as many questions about the role, tech and general business before considering a position. The initial role I applied for was not what I was doing before I resigned.

Pros

Nice office, good CBD location

Cons

It can be quite a toxic environment as if for some reason your face doesn't fit with management or you give a different opinion to what they want to hear they can make your life a misery and you have no option to leave.

Thank you for taking the time to provide the feedback. I am so sorry to hear that you're not having a great time at Expert360 right now. I'm really interested to know what you mean by "if your face doesn't fit with management". We work super hard to make Expert360 an open and inclusive environment for all, so I am surprised and disappointed to hear about your experience but even more eager to understand what this means to you. I encourage you to either speak with your Manager or myself directly. If we hired you, you and your opinions are far more valued and needed than you feel right now - I hope we can fix this. All the best, Bridget

Pros

- attractive salary - lot of smart and hard working people

Cons

culture is not even close to what they claim to have, low morale in some teams leading to disconnect and distrust between employees over time. substantially low employee retention rate even for a startup. it is suggested to talk to any previous employees before you accept any roles in this company - and be clear with your job description on the offer because you might be asked to take on works you did not apply for, only because they think they can.

Hi there - Bridget here. I’m really sorry to hear that you felt this way about E360 after you finished up. Maintaining an amazing culture as we scale is not easy for any company - but it's a top priority for us (and the only way I think companies can succeed in the end!). There will always be things we can do to improve, and I’m also sure different phases of the business suit different people at different times. On the point of being clear on job description and having to do extra - that’s a tricky one. One of the main reasons people join us is… just that. The fact that they get to continuously take on new and different opportunities outside of their core - both more senior but also crossing into other functions - way more than would be possible elsewhere. That said - we should absolutely respect if you’re keen to stay more in your swim lane. I hadn’t appreciated that there maybe people who don’t want expanding responsibilities to grow and develop. I shared this review with the leadership team so they can be more conscious of that. I hope you are happy in your new role. My door is open for more detailed feedback if you'd like to give it. Bridget
