While the agency is doing well, day-to-day life is not great. They really tout the work-life balance thing as an inherent part of the culture, but that is an outright lie. The pay for multiple former employees was below par, and attempts to get a raise were mostly shot down. Communication is not as effective as it should be, and that is paramount in a fast-paced digital agency. Because of that, large and complex changes to the work tend to come last minute, with little to no notice ahead of time. Occasional occurrences of last minute changes are to be expected, but when it is on nearly every project, it really wears on an employee. We all know agency work can be a grind, but Exverus seems intent on keeping employee noses to the grindstone until they burn out and are replaced by the next person buying into the shiny awards...which have no affect on the individual's actual day-to-day. This place is not a step up from your old agency. This is not your dream job. Hold out for something better.
