Pros

The mission is incredibly inspiring. Empowering parents to support education of their children and giving the the tools and resources to be better and stronger advocates is amazing. Colleagues here are some of the smartest and brightest people I have ever worked with. They care deeply about the mission and community and go above and beyond to do it justice in their work.

Cons

Scale of the work does not match the manpower. Staff burns out because workloads are large and expectations to deliver over and over in the midst of unrealistic circumstances are high. Confusion and tensions on the team fester because senior management does not address issues head on or feel it is their responsibility to maintain positive employee morale. Little opportunity for advancement.
