Pros
No pro whatsoever. Worst job I've ever had.
Cons
Working at Fast Growing Trees has been the worst experience of my career. The company may boast about its rapid growth, but what they don't tell you is that this growth comes at the cost of employee well-being. First and foremost, work-life balance is completely non-existent. Expect to work weekends regularly, with little to no regard for your personal time. Leadership seems to have no understanding or respect for boundaries, often expecting you to be available at all hours. The pressure to constantly be "on" is overwhelming and exhausting. The leadership team is a major problem here. They are reactive, not proactive, and it's clear they have no real vision or strategy for the company's future. Decisions are made on a whim, often with little thought to the long-term implications. This chaotic environment is exacerbated by the fact that many people in leadership roles are simply clueless about how to effectively run a company. They seem more interested in maintaining the appearance of success than in actually fostering a sustainable, healthy work environment. The new CEO, Phil, has unfortunately done nothing to improve the situation. In fact, things have only gotten worse since he took over. His leadership style is equally reactive, and he lacks the insight and experience needed to steer the company in a positive direction. Morale is at an all-time low, and there’s a pervasive sense of dissatisfaction and burnout among employees. If you value your time, mental health, and professional development, I strongly advise against working at Fast Growing Trees. The company's toxic culture and poor leadership will only drag you down.
