Unfocused and incapable leadership

Pros

Talented teammates, interesting challenges to work on.

Cons

Leadership. They will go after anything that looks good and maybe will make a buck. They think they are technology visionaries but don't understand technology. They suspend raises then pay consultants to figure out how to manage it. They say they are committed to DE&I, then hire their friends who look like them. If Fast Radius succeeds, it will be because of talented individual contributors overcoming leadership's lack of ability.

Pros

Great sales enablement/sales ops team Robust tech stack

Cons

Absolute chaos in the C-suite. Our CEO is a stupid person's idea of what a smart person from McKinsey sounds like. He quite literally cannot put together an actionable thought. Our newly minted CFO just left after the least successful SPAC in recent memory (which is saying something) and only about 8 months on the job The sales team is lurching from new sales initiative to new sales initiative with no coherent structure or plan There is little feedback provided good, bad, or ugly. People that have been let go are blindsided- no PIP, no warning, nothing.

Pros

- Smart, kind people - Very cool mission and technologies

Cons

- have you seen the stock price? - Senior Leadership either doesn't have a vision or they're very bad at executing. lotta re-orging and changing direction. - Engineering leadership doesn't listen to experienced team members or stakeholders and seems to just make up priorities.. then they either change immediately or don't really make sense. also very adversarial to EMs who are trying to get their teams feeling heard. - attrition has been high for a small and relatively new organization but as long as it's "industry average" no apparent action is necessary
