Pretty steady work, and you stay busy most of the time

      Cons

      Typically Stressful Retail Role

      21 Nov 2022 - Assistant Manager
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Transferring is easy—I moved all around the country and worked at various locations. The benefits are also pretty decent. Lastly, I worked with some really great people.

      Cons

The company was hiring new people at much higher rates of pay than those who were already working there (ie, still not what you’d call a livable wage), including many “valued” frontline workers who slogged through the pandemic, putting themselves and their families at risk with zero hazard pay etc. Very unethical, but then that’s the way of service industries here in the US. You are a cog in the wheel. Also, printing is a viable trade that takes time and practice to learn—your pay is not reflected in this, as you basically make the same as any other retail worker.
