Pros

Missing the days before integration of TNT. There was a lot less politicking, colleagues were more helpful and collaborative.

Cons

The local current market planning team is breeding a very toxic culture within the organisation. In that team, there are vainglorious, attention-seeking people who do not believe in kindness. Their marketing strategies are weak, and their writing skills non-existent, which is strange because the team is also handling content. Senior management overseeing this dept ought to take note.

Pros

Before integration, management always inspired, empowered staff. It was transparent, open door and mutual respect regardless of ranking, title. Staff was treated respectfully. Opinions were heard even if it opposite opinion. It was collaborative environment. Everyone upholds their quality of works and help each other. There is no politics in office

Cons

During integration, managers who originally are not from FedEx can’t uphold purple culture and bring their own management style into FedEx. More aggressive, bossy mangers who only wants yes man . Their ego,pride are high and the most important. Employees no longer can give any feedback, opinion, solutions. There is bias on treatment, TNT ex-mangers try to protect their own people by giving projects, opportunities, share information to their own people, let purple subordinates to clean up mess. It creates a lot of toxic politic environment when now loud voice people can easily suppress others; created a grouping; blaming game and passing the ball around. More long service outstanding employees whose used to solve a lot of problems and proposed good ideas are leaving,this causes demoralise and it creates domino effect.

Pros

Nice and friendly people (non managers). People who are willing to give advice and share ideas.

Cons

Poor management, many managers are either passing time waiting for retirement, and just passing work downwards and asking for reports. Not proactively looking at issues and thinking of end-end customer focused solutions. Fake leaders who uses a lot of 'fancy words' to fake job knowledge and pressure to manage their team. Poor managers who filter reports and news to Senior Management to make themselves look good. It is not about meritocracy, it's about which MD you work for, and which MD likes you. Opportunities and credit are given if you are 'liked'. Rest of us can try, but after a while, you'll see that it doesn't matter how good or how hard you worked, it's about who likes you, that's all.
