Very high impact work, with a personal connection to some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the country Rapid learning - small startup environment means lots of responsibility and lots of getting out of your comfort zone Minimal travel required, though that depends on position Good commitment to work-life balance (for a startup) Great focus on personal and career development Focused but laid-back and collegiate workplace culture. We work late but have fun doing it.
Cons
There is a lot of responsibility for developers and data scientists, and consistently high standards of quality required. You can never half-ass it without someone you sit next to having to pick up the pieces.
