Pros

A decent work environment for young, entry-level talent looking for a flexible and relaxed work environment, good benefits and tech startup "feel". For the region (Northeast Ohio), Findaway is a rare company that has found and capitalized on a niche market with an innovative, but simple, product that satisfies a real need - distributing audio entertainment and educational content to users that do not have access to down-loadable channels of content.

Cons

A company of two cultures, and a set of core values that are not practiced in any real way. For production staff or entry-level professional staff, it is a great environment in which to learn and have an impact on the company. For mid to upper level management, strategic leadership, personal development, open communication and high-performance accountability are seriously lacking.

Pros

Lot's of employee events and food, casual dress, coaches and lounge areas--not chained to your desk, lots of good, over-educated people. Company is growing. Plenty of coffee. Some jobs have a lot of growth potential, others are dead ends--no way to know ahead of time.

Cons

Pay is low. Major lack of diversity, 4-5 African-American's, 1 Asian, no overweight people. women who get ahead are thin, 'fashionista's' most women are overlooked . Overly image conscious, obsessed with trying to look 'millenial' Most of the managers have no idea how to actually manage people. Pay is low --guess they have to make up for all the food and stupid things they waste money on for employee 'welfare. '

Pros

Findaway has great energy, extraordinary core values, trustworthy and wise CEO, and a 'family first' frame of mind.

Cons

Some managers should not be managers. It is okay to allow great employees to continue being great employees without forcing them to manage other people. Especially when that is not their strong suit.
