      Wish I Had Left Sooner

      Pros

      Very involved in the community, paid for my Series 7 and Series 66 which I was able to spend time at work studying for during my first 6 months of employment. Work life balance was decent.

      Cons

      Sexist “Good Ol Boys Club”, petty complaining among employees throughout the bank (especially among the women), growth opportunities are promised but never delivered upon, poor pay, managers and Financial Advisors violate code of conduct and industry standards with no repercussions, lagging technology. Truly if you want to work in wealth management you would be better off going to almost any other investment firm.

      Pros

      Good benefits. They are flexible with schedules. There is always a lot of work available to keep busy with. Sometimes they give small perks to boost morale. There are a lot of low level positions you can move around to it you do not like work repetition.

      Cons

      Bare minimum types of workers get praised when they do anything, but high contributors are ignored or kept under foot because management does not want to reward them or lose them to other positions. There is a long, bloated chain of management required to make any decisions. Tech support is extremely incompetent and lazy. Pay is below market, state, and national averages. It is not competitive, especially after being there for two or more years. There is no competent trainer for most department tasks. No room for advancement unless people vacate positions (except low level spots).

      Pros

      Great 401k match, good intentions for how they invision the company.

      Cons

      Operationally lacking. Too focused on growth and not fixing what's under the hood. CEO threatens if you demonstrate "friction" you're out. What does that even mean? He isn't genuine when speaking to the company. My new direct supervisor lacks communication and basic managerial experience.
