Pros

Worklife balance. Good Benefits (not sure how long this will continue to be). Collegiate team culture (again, this is also being eroded).

Cons

Culture has sadly become worse over the years. Increasingly becoming a hire and fire culture like a bank BUT without the compensation that would be associated with that. HR does not strike a balance between the needs of employees and objectives of employers - so the focus is now far more short term instead of long term sustainable growth.

Pros

In depth credit analysis experience across sectors, flexible and fun work environment, front end role with exposure to C-suite management discussions, flexibility to move between fitch offices across the globe

Cons

Limited differential in variable pay between best and worst performers acts as deterrent to retain top talent, below market increments acts as deterrent to retain top talent
