      Always a challenge

      Pros

      From an engineering point of view I doubt there is as much variation in product offering in the world - there is always a challenge in every part of the company.

      Cons

      The product is very niche and the skills to make it are very manual. The company is definitely going through some transitions as newer generations take over the business. Also very reliant on Oil and Gas.

      Great People, but Valuation concerns hurt employees

      Pros

      Agile environment with personal ownership of projects. Don't have to worry about utilization, hours, etc. Market Rate pay Excellent Work-life balance

      Cons

      Some "old" methods of doing things stick around for a while. Upper management won't know your concerns. Under the IT department, who also don't really get your industry. Market Rate pay Average Benefits During refinancing and valuation concerns (the company is private-equity-company owned), the company tightens belts and any salary or budgeting concerns will be waved away.
