      Great Experience with Flor

      Pros

      Company with an excellent vision of future market demand. Fun and creative working environment. People whom have a solid understanding of their customer's needs/wants. Excellent health benefits, LTD, STD, life insurance, vision, 401K matching and option to buy reduced rate stock in parent company, Interface. Opportunities to easily work with different departments in company and management team whom are very accessible; including senior management.

      Cons

      All positive experiences with Flor. Still a small division of large corporation, so growing pains are to be expected with that. Opportunities to "move-up" are infrequent due to limited full-time staff.

      Pros

      They know how to hire people at FLOR. Everyone really cares about the company, the product, the company mission.

      Cons

      The company is always changing direction and focus, and we were never able to hit a moving target. As a result, there were many store closings, many people lost their jobs.

      Pros

      Small, creative team within a Globally owned company. Culture and approach is very different from Interface. Fantastic product--company has invested a great deal in rebranding. Central west loop location and frequently catered lunches.

      Cons

      Transparency is one-sided, and you will receive emails on the weekend. There is very little autonomy or work from home flexibility unless you're a director or higher. Leadership is aware of cultural issues but not addressing them head on.
