      Pros

      The benefits are good--especially healthcare and time off (though it can sometimes be hard to prepare for and catch up after taking time off). The work and mission is so vital!

      Cons

      I have worked in several other nonprofits, and the Florence Project was the least transparent and most (needlessly) bureaucratic workplace I have encountered. Management is overall poor; there was very little trust between senior management and other employees and communication was really hard to interpret.

      Pros

      Burn out, high turnover, below average pay. HR makes more than attorneys. The org refuses to hire a director of HR, and CEO downgraded a top position for attorneys only.

      Cons

      Low pay, poor management and HR, slow hiring process.
