Pros

- great coworkers and managers - amazing mission - consistent professional development (not always useful though..)

Cons

- low pay - no retirement plan - woke in a useless way. so much talk using trendy woke words but does not uphold promises of equitable action when it comes to employees.

A new chapter for FoodCorps!

Pros

The former president and co-CEO is gone! The longtime founder and a new president, who is great, have taken over leadership.

Cons

I was just reading about the ouster of Ben Jealous at the Sierra Club and I felt like I was reading about FoodCorps under the former co-CEO. Fortunately, his departure was not public like Jealous’s but the former co-CEO at FC wreaked the same kind of havoc and unhappiness. The org is still recovering from that but is mostly there because the founder and new president are both awesome.
