Cons
Current owner ruining the Fortunoff brand the original owners fought so hard to maintain and develop. Say far away. Running the brand/business to the ground. Additionally, have no idea of the worth of each employee (at store level, and corporate level). It's all about money and greed.
The past is not worth the stress, or getting yelled at like a child. You are not set up for success. The company does not take care of its management staff. You get alot of paid time off but there is no good time to take it. It's a resolving door. Managers working over 55 hours with no OT and very low commission rates. Company is out of stock most of the time on the more popular merchandise making sales impossible and that is somehow the store Managers fault. You are expected to work miracles but are not given the tools to do so. Stores only have 2 or 3 employees so they can cut down on payroll expenses. Over 5 years with the company and it has only gotten worse
