Pros

There is great potential there for people and the good of the planet. Would be great if you could get in full time. Would like to see it grow to more states and countries; their services are that important.

Cons

There is a huge diversity of white men employed there. Only a few YOUNG women so far. Not many black/brown faces.

Passionate people that perform a job which really changes lives for those in need. Union representation. Great benefits (employee only)

Cons

Broken management team. Constant anxiety. No respect for dedication to the company. Hands off board of directors

Pros

The work and mission of Free Geek is top notch. The staff are there because there are professional development opportunities and ways to influence the organization beyond their own direct work product.

Cons

There is never enough funding to make things work as smoothly as you would hope. A grassroots organization like this can always use more support.
