Pros

office operations people were pleasant

Cons

This company is the definition of toxic. They entice people telling them about making money and then lay everyone off when business slows down. They legit said "we could not sell another system for 2 years and still pay everyone" and then fired half their staff. They do not care if you have a disability, they make no accomodations and they do not investigate anything within the company, they literally just play favorites with the people they like. They tell everyone their system is 'proprietary' but I will be sharing every little thing I know about them so no one else gets caught paying way too much for solar or working for people that jump at a chance to fire someone so the company survives. They are crumbling... laying people off, getting away from SunPower and now they are just like any other run of the mill, fly by night solar company

Pros

-There were some great people there at one point, but they are mostly gone now. - Free coffee and tea at Austin Location - Can't think of any other pros

Cons

-Very TOXIC and UNPROFESSIONAL enviornment - They will say what you want to hear to get you in the door, and then it is nothing like what they said - You are easily disposable there, they do not try to guide you or give you constructive feedback -Leadership uses fear/scare tactics - Leadership holds no accountability and does nothing to change it. They will just fire employees as scapegoats and nothing changes. They are the problem. - You will be belittled, criticized and discredited by leadership - You may schedule meetings that leadership accepts (or that they scheduled) and they don't attend and it wastes your time. - There is no support if you ask questions - The benefits aren't great - They do not have a set maternity policy in 2023

Pros

No need to workout when you're an installer. You get paid to do it.

Cons

They bought a bunch of toys and new property when they saw a little bit of growth. Then they started laying off a ton of employees when money was short. Not the guys with brand new trucks and cushy jobs, but the guys who drive old cars and do all the hard labor. If you're looking for a job in solar, I can not reccomend this company. I was willing to work hard and retire with them, but management can't see past themselves.
