Pros

This job will get help you get better in shape

Cons

Run away from this job! I'm very serious! Very few people knew what to do when it came to loading or unloading a trailer. New people will start everyday. Seriously this is a dead-end job. Unrealistic expectations on your job duty. I knew immediately when I came in for an "interview" and it was not a regular interview that they had really high turnover. I was in a group of 30 people that came in. Everyone will want you to move fast! From your co-workers to management. You will sweat a lot! It's a hassle to go through security daily. By the way, you can't have no phones on you. Another deal-breaker. Please avoid working for Freight Breakers. Unless you desperately need a job.

Pros

- They take any and everyone pretty quickly if you need a job quickly - There is growth in warehouse experience if you are looking to build your resume - The work is straightforward - Breaks are self managed - Supervisors are supportive and helpful

Cons

- Pay per trailer varies based on the amount of SKU's per tire and weight class of the trailer. Highest amount paid out for a trailer can be $130. - Unrealistic expectations for uncertified forklift employees (complete 1 loading/unloading truck every 2.5 hours), this is unachievable on a non-electric pallet jack and certification for machinery only takes place after 3 months of meeting quotas. - The energy output required to complete this job without being forklift certified does not equate to what you are paid. - To make just enough money, overtime during your regular scheduled shift and requested extra days IS required. - Some days there is no work available and you are sent home, this can be frustrating if you don't live close to their Blakeslee location. - There is a big problem with accountability amongst employees. - The job listing advertises being able to make up to $1,000 a week which at the minimum would require being forklift certified and as much overtime as you can get.
