Franchise owners face bullying and exploitation by HQ

Pros

Easy to memorize the menu because it's small.

Cons

Their HQ corporate standard system is just a bulling system to the franchise owners. They say "zero royalty" and "partnership", but the truth is that they bully the owners and deduct points by conducting "evaluations" and give all the penalties (fees) they can give. They say "zero marketing", but they don't really help the owners to market and promote to be successful. They rather make the owners fail so that they can collect the "penalties". The owners are not really owners. They are like servants for the HQ office. The CEO is like a dictator who likes to intimidate the franchise owners and the business coaches. The business coaches are just "Brown-noses" for the CEO. Their business mission is a complete lie. They don't care about YOU. I really started to hate this type of business structure. I find it's shameful that the CEO was a struggling immigrant who achieved a success by taking advantage of other poor immigrant owners and employees rather than understanding their struggles. He is just a bully and a dictator who only cares about his own success.

Terrible workplace and terrible culture. Stay far away!

Pros

None at all. Stay away

Cons

Freshslice head office is a masterclass in ego-driven leadership and top-down dysfunction. Leadership is obsessed with image, control, and being praised, while being completely disconnected from reality on the ground. Feedback isn’t welcomed unless it reinforces what they already believe—anything critical is ignored or quietly punished. Decisions are made impulsively, accountability doesn’t exist at the top, and blame is always pushed downward. Employees are overworked, undervalued, and treated as replaceable, while head office pretends everything is fine. The culture is toxic, self-serving, and exhausting. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

2 Free Slice of Pizza and Pop only for a 4+ hour shift

Cons

Payment is supposed to be bi-weekly. My first payment for the first bi-weekly payment came 2 weeks late, confusing the whole process at my location.
