Pros

Great experience with a small cpg / startup feel, Office is so beautiful, products are world class, majority of people you work with are kind and collaborative. You will learn a ton here, both professionally and about personally. This is a very “cool” job and people are always excited when they learn you work for such a great brand.

Cons

Culture, workload, and hours are demanding. In office until 6pm minimum daily required, not uncommon to work weekends. Culture is very much “late and perfect over good and on time” (could be a pro for some). Leadership not afraid to push employees hard, hurt feelings, and get under your skin, which motivates some and shrinks others. You need to know yourself well and be honest with yourself before taking role here. Some employees have described it very “old school.” Some agencies and retailers have hard time working with Frida due to their culture, and will express frustration periodically, but the products are the best on the market so they figure it out. If you come from a large cpg corp you will think some people in higher roles here would be in much more Jr roles at larger companies. They don’t have the skill sets you are used to and don’t understand retail like they should- and that may frustrate you. Be willing the help and teach.
