Pros
errrrm, there's a nice coffee van that comes now and again
Cons
This was the worst Job I've had in my 12 years of employment - Having worked at some pretty bad corporate companies in the past, with poor management and direction, those seemed like absolute cakewalks compared to this. I was hired to 'Re-brand' fuel learning - My portfolio, linkedin etc, all clearly state what it is I have been doing the past decade and my experience, working with some of the biggest multinationals in the world creating campaigns as a Senior Designer - My guess is the boss saw a bunch of big names and pretty pictures on my portfolio, and wanted to hire me with no actual idea what it is I even do. purely for some weird ego boost or something, as he fell out with the guy who previously hired me (he constantly badmouthed previous employees) I started with no induction, not introduced to anyone, not given any kind of info about what needed to be done, so I just left to my own devices. a girl who had been there for a couple of weeks before me, had literally not been given anything to do, and just sat there for a week doing nothing. So i took it on myself to just start re-branding and making a proposal. This went brilliantly at first, boss was happy, until apparently someone told him the guy before me had created some brand guidelines (that we were never shown) and those needed to be adhered to (sadly my telepathic abilities were not working on that day) This made big boss ego get hurt! he looks like he'd just hired a bunch of people for no apparent reason, his attitude totally changed, and blame game started. 'You guys are 100k worth of investment!' was a line that was brought up constantly. we were expected to mind read, and know where a previous employer had saved a bunch of important documents (You guys are designers!) I can't put into words how surreal the office environment was, Imagine David Brent, and grant Mitchell had some kind of weird clone in a lab, just cringe central, complete with a goofy sidekick who not once spoke to any of us. This is a company that teaches MANAGEMENT. It blew my mind how awful this place managed its employees. Thank god i can look back and laugh at my experience now, but honestly. If you are not part of fuels CORE BUSINESS... DO NOT... I repeat, NOT go anywhere near this place
