When you want to laugh but also want to cry
Pros
Not a pro, but just saying - it's a very SME culture - want everything fast, good, quick, but not willing to expend the necessary resources. Country manager in SG is someone who does listen, and does try. Not a bad boss overall. Still, because he has too much on his plate, he is not able to lead or guide all departments as effectively as he thinks. The team is not as smooth-running as one may think.
Cons
You will always wonder why we lag behind our orange competitor / Other competitors and sometimes the answer stares us in our face, but for some reason, the answer is not taken as the answer...? Why, dear management? At the end of 2023, will you still wonder? Because you have been wondering since 2020. That's 2 years, or more. as an employee, you will try and put in your best efforts, but prepare to be cock-blocked, or prepare to have your dreams dashed. GoGoX has potential and is promising, but it just lacks the X-factor to be honest. What is something GoGoX can do that others can't? And don't use marketing speak here. Company values ops and sales heavily. Other departments are just a support role, or worse, neglected. The company hires ex-convicts and gives them a good chance, but for people with potential but are just lacking guidance, understanding and direction, they send them out the door. Ok.
