Some managers are paid less than the people under them because they have been with the company longer! Managers very protective of little empires and will not share information. very cliquey. Everyone is a director... There are quite literally hundreds of directors so the title means absolutely nothing. The best people are recognised by being able to get a job somewhere else. Avison Young did not get rid of the right people.
