Thank you for sharing such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear that you recognize the competitive salary, clear bonus structure, and the other benefits we provide. We are always striving to improve and take your feedback seriously as it helps us grow and evolve. Regarding transparency in our communications and leadership practices, we are committed to making continuous improvements to ensure that every employee's voice is heard and valued. We have developed various channels such as Chat with the CEO, the Suggestion Hub, and Lunch with the CEO to facilitate open and meaningful dialogues. Further, we ensure anonymity in all feedback received through our internal employee surveys and external social media and have processes in place to guarantee that all feedback is handled confidentially and with the utmost care. In response to your insights on DEI and the challenges faced regarding promotions and remote workers, we want you to know that we have many communities within the company dedicated to ensuring that diversity and inclusions are respected and equitably distributed. Additionally, we do offer paid parental leave to support our employee during this important time of their lives. Pros

Great profit margins, Good work life balance and decent pay, Good people and nice office in Mountainview CA

Cons

Company run by a CFO who is neither visionary nor an inspiring leader, Our products are legacy and being disrupted by more nimble players. Avast seemed like a more technically oriented company but the acquisition has destroyed their value and not much to show for the $9B spent on Avast except huge debt. Remote work has been great but going away as management believes that if you are not in the office you are probably goofing off and not being productive. Our productivity tools used by engineers are sub-par because money is taken away from engineers and given to marketing instead.
