This is the messy part: Lots of jumping around. Too many loose ends. Too many things chased. Gets tiring after a while. Decisions seem very opportunistic. Not at a client service level. There we do our job with not much changes. But from the direction of the company there are many changes.
If you want to keep up with the changes, you need some kind of way of handling this to maintain your energy level. I see some colleagues having a hard time with this.
The company got funding it was two years ago. A lot happened. More talent came in. But also lots of talent got moved out. They call this talent density. I see improvements. I'm still here, so I must be some kind of an a talent myself ;-).
Biggest problem: We're a fintech. On the inside it's taking long to become get to a scaling. I'm not a techie. But I see things moving faster now.
Marketing keeps pushing the "scalability" story. But we're just not there yet. Our AI data team are helping a lot to make this scaling happen. I like the guys a lot.
I am confident, that our vision will come true. Just not as fast as it says on the powerpoint slides.
Final call: It's a startup. It can get very hot. If you don't like heat, you shouldn't get into the GenTwo kitchen. If you can take it, it's great.
