Many execs have no biotech experience, are focused on themselves getting rich quick and have lost interest in being engaged leaders and holding themselves and other leaders accountable. Clinging on to the AI hype while they still can, but lacking vision to realize the company’s early promise. The culture has tanked and people are disillusioned. Bad behavior is rewarded and nothing changes to improve culture despite lip service. The pay is good but not worth the burn out and bad culture.
